After her fiancé Karl-Anthony Towns said Jordyn Woods didn’t like New York Knicks owner James Dolan’s no sex rule for the team ahead of the playoffs, she revealed whether or not she followed it.
During an interview with TODAY with Jenna & Sheinelle, Woods revealed that she couldn’t “say that I abided by it,” but she “did hear about it.”
“Supposedly, our owner, Jim Dolan, told the guys, but he really wanted them to win,” she explained, before conceding, “Some guys can’t lock in.”
What Karl-Anthony Towns said about Jordyn Woods’ reaction to Knicks owner James Dolan’s NSFW playoff request

It’s not surprising that Woods felt this way. KAT recently told Howard Stern that Woods “didn’t like” the rule, explaining, “I’m a happily engaged man. I will definitely say, when I came home and I told my fiancée what he said, she didn’t like to hear that one,” with a laugh.
He was then asked by Stern if he “delivered the goods,” to which a laughing Towns said, “I would say she’s very happy.” So, it sounds like Woods wasn’t lying while on TODAY.
For as ridiculous as it sounds, Dolan did jokingly ask his team to be celibate during the playoffs. Jalen Brunson and Josh Hart revealed Dolan’s speech to the team before the playoffs. He did ask them to abstain from intimacy for 10 weeks.
“I had this idea that maybe you should give up sex for the next 10 weeks,” he said, making some players chuckle. “You don’t have to give up sex for the next 10 weeks, but like Spartans — do you know what Spartans are? They denied themselves so that they could have an edge. Get the edge.”
Even Dolan knew it sounded ridiculous. He asked the players not to tell their partners that he suggested it. He concluded, “Don’t tell them it was my idea, but let them know what this is going to be like, what your commitment is going to be like, and how they’re going to have to sacrifice too.”
