Just after her New York Knicks won a championship, the franchise’s first in 53 years, Oscar-winning actress Anne Hathaway revealed that she is pregnant with her first baby in seven years.
She made the announcement on social media on Friday, June 19, 2026. Hathaway posted a video of herself walking with a robe on as Barbara Lewis’ “Baby, I’m Yours” played in the background.
When she turned, she showed off her baby bump, which is beginning to pop. She appeared overjoyed, and congratulations are in order to her and her husband, Adam Shulman.
How many kids does Anne Hathaway have?
Hathaway already has two kids with her husband. The first, a boy, was born in March 2016. Her second child, also a boy, was born in November 2019.
It has been a crazy few months for the actress. She has starred in two movies, Mother Mary and The Devil Wears Prada 2, the latter of which came with an exhaustive press tour. After all, it was the long-awaited sequel to The Devil Wears Prada (2006).
Coming up, she will star in Christopher Nolan’s The Odyssey, which comes out on July 17. She also has two more movies, The End of Oak Street and Verity, coming out later in the year. In total, she will have starred in five movies this year. That is the most movies she’s starred in a year since 2014, when she starred in four films (she did the same thing four years earlier).
Additionally, her Knicks won a championship after beating the San Antonio Spurs in the NBA Finals. A native New Yorker, she was rooting hard for the team.
OG Anunoby went on a tear after he was name-dropped by Hathaway on The Tonight Show Starring Jimmy Fallon. Karl-Anthony Towns also made a cameo in The Devil Wears Prada 2. The Knicks went on a win streak after that as well.
