Jalen Brunson left 2025-26 season with 7 NBA trophies

The New York Knicks were the last team standing this season, with Jalen Brunson leading the charge as the NBA Finals MVP. But this season was all about winning for the Knicks, starting before their NBA Championship victory in June.

Back in December, the Knicks qualified for the NBA Cup knockout stage and before they knew it, found themselves in the Cup Finals against Victor Wembanyama and the San Antonio Spurs. After a hard-fought game, the Knicks won the NBA Cup Trophy in December, and Jalen Brunson walked away with the NBA Cup MVP trophy.

Then came NBA All-Star weekend in Los Angeles, where Jalen Brunson, Karl-Anthony Towns, Allan Houston, and Rick Brunson took home the Shooting Stars trophy from the first competition on All-Star Saturday night.

Then came the NBA playoffs, where the New York Knicks came in extremely locked in following a passionate speech from owner James Dolan which has since gone viral thanks to the Roommates Show podcast.

The Knicks won the Eastern Conference Finals, taking home the Bob Cousy trophy. Brunson was named the winner of the Eastern Conference Finals MVP award, also known as the Larry Bird Trophy.

And we all witnessed what happened in the 2026 NBA Finals, when Jalen Brunson and his Knicks started off slow, but time after time, came back to defeat the San Antonio Spurs late in games. Brunson finished the series with a 36-point performance in the miraculous 29-point comeback victory in Game 4, and followed that up with a 45-point eruption in Game 5, which saw him drop 15 points in the fourth quarter to complete yet another comeback in the Finals.

The Knicks took home the Larry O’Brien Trophy, and Jalen Brunson was named NBA Finals MVP, also known as the Bill Russell Trophy named after the late, great Celtics legend.

All in all, Brunson walked away from the 2025-26 season with seven trophies. Yes, seven.

This was about as perfect of a season as you could ask from your star player. Brunson finished this season averaging 26 points, 3.3 rebounds, and 6.8 assists per game while shooting 46.7n percent from the field and 36.9 percent from three.

He took his game to the next level in the postseason, averaging 28.4 points, 3.2 rebounds, 6.1 assists, and 1.2 steals per game while shooting 46.5 percent from the field and 36.3 percent from three. Brunson led all players in points per game, field goals made, field goals attempted, and two-point field goals attempted.
