The Chicago Cubs are getting so much production from Pete Crow-Armstrong right now. Crow-Armstrong continued a stellar season on Saturday, with yet another home run for the Cubbies.
“Another day, another home run for Pete Crow-Armstrong, his 9th of the month to go along with 4 doubles and 2 triples. SLUGGING .929 in June,” ESPN reporter Jesse Rogers posted to X, formerly Twitter.
Crow-Armstrong blasted a two-run homer in a game Saturday against the Toronto Blue Jays.

Crow-Armstrong is proving that he is an invaluable part of the Cubs offense. His home run numbers are bonkers.
“This was PCA’s 57th career HR, tying Billy Williams for the 5th most by a Cubs player age 24 or younger behind Ron Santo (104), Ernie Banks (65), Kris Bryant (65) and Anthony Rizzo (63). He can catch a few of them before turning 25 (in March),” Rogers added in a separate post.
Crow-Armstrong is putting together quite a stretch. Before Saturday’s game, he became the only MLB player in the modern era to post 34 hits, five doubles, two triples, nine home runs and six stolen bases in an 18-game span. That is according to OptaSTATS.
Pete Crow-Armstrong is setting the tone right now for the Cubs
The slugger reached base five times for Chicago in a win on Friday over the Toronto Blue Jays. Chicago pummeled the Blue Jays, 16-2.
“It’s who we are. Today was the definition of who we are,” Crow-Armstrong said after that victory, per MLB.com. “Drawing walks against a guy who doesn’t walk people, mixed with hits and a homer. That’s exactly who we are. We put ourselves in really good opportunities today to hit with guys on and — contrary to recently — we made the most of those opportunities really well. It was a great day.”
The Cubs and their fans love to see that. Chicago is currently third in the National League Central this season. The Cubs have had an up-and-down campaign, going through a rough stretch where the club lost 10 straight games.
Chicago is 40-36 on the season heading into Saturday’s game with the Blue Jays.
