UFC’s Dana White reveals insane ‘$150M’ price tag for Mark Zuckerberg vs. Elon Musk fight

For years now, fans have been waiting to see two of the world’s most popular billionaires fight inside the octagon. With the rumors first beginning in 2023, fans also soon jumped on the wagon of seeing Meta’s Mark Zuckerberg against X’s Elon Musk in a UFC/MMA fight.

With many celebrities and industry insiders & outsiders talking about the fan, fans never saw it come into fruition. However, UFC President Dana White recently shared a major update regarding the fight and certain details and roadblocks.

Following UFC’s Fight Night event on Jun. 20, 2026, Dana White opened up to the media about a potential event at the Roman Colosseum between Zuckerberg and Musk. However, White shared how expensive such an event could turn out to be.

“It’s impossible, because I was negotiating the deal with Zuckerberg and Musk. That was real. I was literally in my backyard for two weeks negotiating that fight, and they wanted the Colosseum. The Colosseum wanted something like $150 million to do it there, which that money would go into a fund that restores all the iconic places in Italy,” White said. “The Colosseum would take Zuckerberg fighting Musk to happen, because those people were going to put up the money for the Colosseum.”

He also elaborated on whether the UFC would arrange a fight if someone else offered the sum of money to run the event. “Anybody that wants to put up the money for UFC to fight in the Colosseum, I’m in.”

The hypothetical fight garnered immense public attention when it emerged in 2023, as both individuals exchanged taunts on social media, but the discussion eventually died down. Interestingly, Zuckerberg also actively trains in Brazilian Jiu-Jitsu (BJJ) and Mixed Martial Arts.
