On Saturday, June 20, 2026, one of Bob Dylan’s classic albums, Blonde on Blonde, celebrated its 60th anniversary, which WWE Superstar Chad Gable acknowledged.
Gable, who, like Dylan, is from Minnesota, posted a picture of the album cover on X, formerly Twitter, on June 20 without any caption.

More than likely, he was just acknowledging the album’s anniversary. After all, it is one of the most celebrated works in Dylan’s legendary career.
Bob Dylan’s Blonde on Blonde album’s anniversary

Blonde on Blonde was released on June 20, 1966, by Columbia. It was his follow-up to the critically acclaimed Highway 61 Revisited, which featured hits such as “Like a Rolling Stone.”
The release of Dylan’s follow-up to Highway 61 Revisited was preceded by three singles: “One of Us Must Know (Sooner or Later),” “Rainy Day Women #12 & 35″/”Pledging My Time,” and “I Want You.” Another hit song, “Just Like a Woman,” was released as a single after the album’s release in September 1966.
The album marked the conclusion of a trilogy of rock albums for Dylan. He began separating from his folk roots with Bringing It All Back Home, which was released in April 1965. Just a few months later, Highway 61 Revisited doubled down on his rock direction.
Since Blonde on Blonde, Dylan, 85, has released 33 more studio albums. He just wrapped a lengthy tour in support of his 2020 studio album, Rough and Rowdy Ways. The tour lasted over four years, and 303 shows were performed over 10 legs from Nov. 2, 2021, to May 1, 2026.
Right after the Rough and Rowdy Ways Tour concluded, he launched a summer tour that will keep him on the road until Aug. 1, 2026, when he plays a show in Nashville, Tennessee.
Throughout his career, Dylan has won 10 Grammys and has been nominated for 38 awards. His last nomination was in 2018 for Best Traditional Pop Vocal Album (Triplicate). He last won an award in 2017, winning Best Contemporary Folk Album for Modern Times and Best Solo Rock Vocal Performance for “Someday Baby.”
