Jake Ferguson is a married man!
The Dallas Cowboys star married Haley Cavinder in a ceremony in Miami over the weekend. Ferguson wore a white tuxedo jacket and black dress pants. Cavinder stunned in a white lace strapless gown for the big day. The couple spoke to PEOPLE following their ceremony about how their wedding weekend went.
“We are so excited to finally be married and celebrate this next chapter of our lives together,” the couple tells the outlet. “Having all of our family and friends in Miami to share this weekend with us makes it even more special. We feel incredibly grateful to be surrounded by the people who have supported us, loved us, and helped shape our journey.”
“More than anything, this weekend is about celebrating our loved ones and the joining of our two families. We’re so thankful to share this moment with the people who mean the most to us,” they continued.
After the ceremony, the couple entered the reception with the song, “Fergalicious” by Fergie as a reference to their new shared name. They kept the vibes going throughout the night, which included their first dance to “Then” by Brad Paisley.
Cavinder and Ferguson first connected on social media in 2023. After exchanging some DMs, they had their first date in Florida. About two years later in April 2025, they got engaged. The social media star shared beach photos of the proposal which included the Cowboys tight end kissing her as she showed off her ring.
“foreva fergy,” she captioned the photos which included several of her family and close friends celebrating with her.
Almost exactly a year later, the two walked down the aisle.
While Cavinder and her twin sister, Hanna Cavinder, are known well on social media, the two sprung into the spotlight as when they played alongside one another at Fresno State and the University of Miami from 2019 to 2025. Ferguson was drafted fourth round (129th overall) in 2022. They both have been supportive of one another on social media showing up in videos together and Cavinder cheering Ferguson on during the NFL season.
