OTAs were a bit dramatic for the Arizona Cardinals, as star edge rusher Josh Sweat and veteran quarterback Jacoby Brissett held out during that time. However, with mandatory minicamp underway, it appears both players are back with the team.
Reports indicate that Sweat and Brissett arrived at the Cardinals’ facilities for minicamp, according to Ian Rapoport of the NFL Network. It is not clear exactly how involved they will be during mandatory minicamp, but at the very least, they are with their teammates in Arizona.
“Cardinals veterans Jacoby Brissett and Josh Sweat, both of whom have not been present for voluntary OTAs, are in the house for mandatory minicamp.”
This story is currently developing, and more information will be published soon.
