The 2026 NBA Draft is here, but not before there were multiple blockbuster trades on Tuesday night. First, the Minnesota Timberwolves, Brooklyn Nets and Chicago Bulls got together on a three-team trade that sent Julius Randle and the No. 28 pick to the Nets and Nic Claxton to the Bulls, with Ayo Dosunmu then agreeing to a massive $112 million contract. Then came the blockbuster trade we’d all been waiting for, as the Miami Heat beat out the Boston Celtics in the Giannis Antetokounmpo sweepstakes. That deal has the No. 13 pick in this draft switching hands.
However, neither of these trades will become officially official until July, so there will be some NBA Draft hat shenanigans in store on Wednesday night. And there’s sure to be plenty of other action as well once the expected top four picks of AJ Dybantsa, Darryn Peterson, Cameron Boozer and Caleb Wilson are off the board. Catch up on the latest rumors leading up to the draft in Brett Siegel’s final mock.
