Caleb Wilson reveals what Bryson Graham told him after being drafted

Without question, the Chicago Bulls are celebrating drafting North Carolina forward Caleb Wilson as the No.4 pick in the 2026 NBA Draft. A culminating point of a period in which the Bulls are looking to start anew after many years of stagnation.

Afterward, he spoke on the phone with VP of Basketball Operations Bryson Graham. He shared what was said between the two, per Drew Stevens of The Bigs. Overall, Wilson said that Graham welcomed him to the team, described the team’s atmosphere, and gave him a sense that he was ready to play.

“Great guys, a great locker room and great team chemistry,” adding: “All I need is someone to believe in me for me to want to go to war with them,” Wilson said.

In the last few months, Wilson was largely expected to be the No.4 pick by the Bulls. He is coming off a standout season at North Carolina, averaging 19.8 points and 9.4 rebounds per game. Additionally, he also shot 57.8% from the field. Already, Wilson is taking the draft experience in stride, celebrating with his family.

Overall, his drafting comes at a time in which the Bulls are undergoing a radicial top-down revitalization.

In May, Graham was hired as the new VP of Basketball Operations. This was after the firing of executive Arturas Karnisovas and GM Marc Eversley in April. That same month, Billy Donovan stepped down as head coach after six seasons.

Then, the Bulls hired former Trail Blazers coach Tiago Splitter.

Wilson is highly likely to be the focal point of the franchise.
