They loaded up their frontcourt by grabbing former five-star recruit Jayden Quaintance at No. 20, before then completing a trade with the Denver Nuggets to acquire UConn standout Tarris Reed Jr six picks later.
The Western Conference champions dealt the No. 35 selection, a 2028 second-rounder (via Minnesota Timberwolves) and a 2031 second (via Sacramento Kings) to the Mile High City in exchange for the near-6-foot-10 Reed, per Brett Siegel of ClutchPoints.
