Cameron Carr immediately knew his NBA Draft night was changing after the New York Knicks selected him at No. 24 and traded his rights to the Los Angeles Lakers.
The former Baylor guard’s reaction quickly became one of the more memorable moments of Tuesday night’s first round at Barclays Center.
NBA on ESPN shared the behind-the-scenes clip on X, formerly Twitter, showing the rookie processing the draft-night deal in real time as he walked up to the podium to greet NBA Commissioner Adam Silver.
