“The Wizards called my name. All those years of work. All those days of anticipation. It happened just like God planned,” said Dybantsa.
He added that “everything was a blur” after his name was called at Barclays Center in New York, where he later saw a billboard of himself, which was as “big as anything.”

Now that his memorable evening is over, Dybantsa is ready to roll up his sleeves and put in the work, acknowledging that he needs to prove himself again in Washington.
“We made it to the top. And now, I’m starting at the bottom again. First practices. First film sessions. Building with a new team, in a new city, in front of fans I haven’t met yet. Earning all of it. There is nowhere I’d rather be starting over,” said Dybantsa.
“LGI, DC. I’m home.”
The Wizards have their guy, and it feels like Washington will embrace him right away.
