Cris Cyborg once clapped back at Ronda Rousey’s controversial comments

While once heavily rumored to fight each other, fans were left hanging while waiting see Rousey and Cyborg square off inside the octagon. A few months ago, Rousey dropped a few controversial statements on Gina Carano’s 2009 opponent, Cris Cyborg. However, Cyborg didn’t stay silent and shot back at the comments.
“How crazy? This is already past 10 years [ago],” Cyborg told MMA Fighting. “She’s already a mother, she’s retired for 10 years, and I’m in a different time in my life, too. So the past 10 years, I didn’t think about her. This is annoying her. But I’m just living my life and enjoying, I do a lot of things for the sport, and I’m going to continue doing.”
Rousey retired from fighting after winning against Gina Carano, while Cyborg is moving closer to her retirement fight.
