A few days ago, during an episode of Friday Night WWE SmackDown, fans saw Jade Cargill suffer an embarrassing and unfortunate moment. During the Queen of the Ring first round match, Cargill faced Sol Ruca, Lyra Valkyria, and Charlotte Flair.
Midway through the match, Cargill suffered a wardrobe malfunction when her wig came off. Despite suffering the unfortunate moment, Cargill continued with the match, including taking a Sol Snatcher from Sol Ruca while holding the wig to her head.
Now, days after the incident, Cargill appeared on No-Contest Wrestling where she finally broke the silence on the mishap. “The crazy thing – people wanna sit there and talk about, ‘It’s the glue,’ or whatever. No, my wig was sewn on. I sew my wig. That’s how hard my wig was pulled. That’s how hard. Pieces of my hair came out, too. But it’s not a secret. I say all the time I wear a wig. What woman of my color do we know, let’s be real, let’s not be stupid… People can be very slow and very stupid. We all know it’s clickbait. People just ride on the train, try to trend, and try to jump on the hate train. It is what it is,” Cargill said.
She opened up more, sharing that people have been looking for reasons to dislike her, and although her wrestling this year has been “good,” fans used the wig as a reason to hate her. “So this was just a time for people to try to jump on a bandwagon and make a ‘point’ or whatever, when I always say it’s a wig. I talk about it all the time, it’s one of my biggest fears, and it happened,” she added.
Jade Cargill opens up in detail about her wig wardrobe malfunction

In the same interview, Cargill opened up in detail and shared more information about the wardrobe malfunction. “Listen, a lot of things were going through my mind, and when it happened, I screamed at Charlotte. I was like, ‘Charlotte!’ I was so mad. I was so angry. I was just like, ‘I can’t stop right now. I can’t stop. I can’t stop right now.’ I persevered, and I kept on going, and I was like, ‘Alright, y’all got the best of me this time, and I gotta keep going.’
“But my wig was sewn on, my wig was glued on, everything you can think of. It was just the fact that it was literally pulled off. It was literally pulled off. My hair came out as well with it. My hair grew down here way below my shoulders, and I cut it just to make a point. People don’t understand. What’s funny about it all is, thankfully, my bald cap came off as well, because imagine if my bald cap was still on my head. People would have really thought I was bald,” she finished.
