Ronnie 2K roasted to smithereens over viral picture with Wizards’ AJ Dybantsa

Washington Wizards rookie AJ Dybantsa is in the spotlight after being drafted as the No. 1 pick in the NBA Draft. Many are excited to see him strut his stuff in the league and try to carry the Wizards back to relevance.

It is a lot of pressure for a 19-year-old, but Dybantsa is used to being the go-to guy, and playing for Washington will provide him with a lot of room for growth. There is already plenty of optimism on the Wizards with his arrival, which should only help the young forward.

His popularity will rise further once the season begins. As with any No.1 pick, the NBA will market him. He will be everywhere, including, of course, NBA 2K27, which will be released in September.

During the NBA Draft on Tuesday, Ronnie 2K, the brand ambassador of NBA 2K, posted his picture with Dybantsa.

“Congrats to all the rooks tonight making their NBA childhood dreams come true,” wrote Ronnie 2K.

It quickly went viral, with 3.3 million views as of writing. Fans, however, were not too nice to Ronnie 2K.

“Ronnie 2K out here looking like he needs to be in the backrooms,” said @infinitistonerD.

“Money can’t buy swag. This isn’t 2K, bud. How do you look like a cornball wearing $7K worth of clothes?” added @jimmyjam9809.

“Damn, so nobody likes Ronnie, huh?” asked @dejuanricch.

“Ronnie, just wear a polo and jeans, man. This looks absolutely insane,” suggested @nezyaps.

“Out there looking like a MYPLAYER,” commented @YungMetroSex.

Ah, social media. Such a heartwarming place.

Dybantsa, for his part, should be prepared for all the scrutiny. Fans will be quick to dunk on him as soon as he has a bad game.

Now, there is only one question left to ask: What will be Dybantsa’s rating on NBA 2K27?
