Fever’s Caitlin Clark buries stunning game-winner to beat Mystics

Caitlin Clark did what she does best, burying the game-winner from way downtown to lift the Indiana Fever past the Washington Mystics, 78-76, at CareFirst Arena on Monday.

The Fever improved to 6-5, earning their first win in the WNBA Commissioner’s Cup.

Clark sank the long three-pointer from a perfectly executed inbound play with only 4.3 seconds left. Sophie Cunningham issued the pinpoint pass.

Clark finished with a game-high 19 points, including four three-pointers, three rebounds, and five assists. She, however, also had five turnovers.

Aliyah Boston provided all-around support with 14 points, 10 rebounds, three assists, two steals, and two blocks.

The Fever bounced back from their loss to the New York Liberty, 83-75, on Saturday.

The Mystics fell to 4-6.
