IShowSpeed Makes Feelings Clear On WWE Career Plans

IShowSpeed isn’t ready to swap streaming for professional wrestling just yet, but he isn’t ruling out a future inside a WWE ring either.

During an appearance on The Pat McAfee Show, the internet star reflected on his WrestleMania 42 experience and admitted he could see himself taking WWE much more seriously later in his career. While he remains focused on other opportunities for now, Speed said wrestling continues to interest him.

“I genuinely think at some point in my career, I will take WWE a bit more seriously and actually be able to deliver my full self into it and immerse myself in it.”

Those comments will likely catch WWE’s attention after Speed impressed during his WrestleMania 42 appearance. According to Fightful Select, WWE officials praised the streamer backstage because he fully committed to his role instead of treating it like a typical celebrity cameo. That willingness to embrace the moment reportedly left a positive impression on those within the company.

Speed Says He’s Still Deciding His Next Move

Although Speed acknowledged a future in WWE remains possible, he stressed that he hasn’t settled on what comes next in his career.

“But right now, I’m still figuring out what I really want to do, what path I truly want to take.”

That uncertainty doesn’t diminish the impact of his WrestleMania performance. Rather than making a brief appearance, Speed became part of the action and embraced the physical nature of the event, showing a level of commitment that WWE has often valued from celebrity guests.

His comments suggest wrestling remains more than a one-time experience, even if the timing isn’t right today.

For now, Speed continues to focus on his streaming career while keeping the possibility of a WWE run alive.
