World Cup news: Jon Bon Jovi caught Ecuador-Germany match at MetLife Stadium days before 2026 tour kickoff

Witnessing one of the best comebacks of this year’s 2026 FIFA World Cup at the MetLife Stadium or the New York-New Jersey Stadium was legendary musician Jon Bon Jovi and his wife Dorothea.

The couple was spotted entering the stadium to witness one of the most thrilling matches of this year’s World Cup. While Germany cruised through comfortable wins in their first two games, they found an equal competition in Ecuador. Despite Ecuador losing their first two matches, they stood their ground and defeated the four-time World Cup winners 2-1.

The MetLife Stadium was filled with several celebrities attending to catch Germany vs. Ecuador. While Sabrina Carpenter was one of the attendees, Jon Bon Jovi and Dorothea were the other ones. Bon Jovi appeared at the stadium looking stylish and dapper in his crisp white shirt and blue denim. Their appearance comes just days before their 2026 tour kickoff.
