Fever congratulate Caitlin Clark for major off-court honor

The Indiana Fever are starting to find themselves during the 2026 WNBA season. Indiana’s last-second win against Washington, thanks to a game-winning logo shot from Caitlin Clark, has the team moving in the right direction. One Fever player just received an impressive honor off the court.

Clark has been named to TIME’s 100 most influential people in sports 2026 list.

The Fever made a post on social media on Tuesday to announce the news to her fans, along with the message “CC continues to shine.”

TIME cited Clark’s latest incredible WNBA milestone of being the fastest player to reach 1,000+ points, 250+ rebounds, and 250+ assists as one of her biggest achievements of the 2026 season so far.

“In 2025, Clark missed a majority of her sophomore pro season with injuries; in the first game of 2026, she became the fastest player in WNBA history to record 1,000-plus points, 250-plus rebounds, and 250-plus assists,” TIME wrote. “Clark reached these milestones in just 54 career games, while the previous record holder, WNBA all-time leading scorer Diana Taurasi, needed 62.”

Clark has played well so far during the 2026 season. She is averaging 18.7 points, 4.5 rebounds, 7.9 assists, and one steal per game in her 10 starts.

But Clark was not the only WNBA figure to make TIME’s top 100 list. Other WNBA figures include A’ja Wilson, Nneka Ogwumike, Aces coach Becky Hammon.

Indiana now has a 6-5 record and is ranked 7th in the WNBA standings. They could gain even more ground in the standings by picking up another win in their next game.

Next up for the Fever is a home game against the Sky. It tips off at 7PM ET on June 11th from Gainbridge Fieldhouse.
