Indianapolis Colts star Jonathan Taylor is entering a contract year in the 2026-27 season. With the new campaign quickly approaching, Taylor informed the franchise what he hopes to accomplish in a potential new deal.
Reports indicate that Taylor, who is 27 years old, told the Colts he wants to play for the organization for his entire career, according to Stephen Holder of ESPN. It’s said that Taylor would prefer to get a new deal done before the start of the upcoming season, but for now, those conversations have not yet been had.
“Colts RB Jonathan Taylor, who is entering a contract year, on his contract status: ‘I’d love to be a Colt for life.’ Said he prefers to sign a deal ahead of this season, but unclear at the moment where things will wind up,” reported Holder.
