Knicks’ Jalen Brunson responds to odd ‘world peace’ question after Game 4 win

Despite all the evil and injustices in the world, there are still many things to be thankful for. Watching Jalen Brunson play basketball is one of them.

Brunson powered the New York Knicks to the biggest comeback in the history of the NBA Finals, surviving the San Antonio Spurs, 107-106, in Game 4 at Madison Square Garden on Wednesday.

In the postgame conference, a reporter asked the three-time All-Star what is most important to him: Winning as MVP, winning a championship, or world peace. The 29-year-old Brunson let out a chuckle before giving the perfect answer.

“The most important thing for me over these next 48 hours is focusing on what we have to do to win Game 5,” said Brunson.

Brunson tallied game-highs of 36 points and seven assists on top of five rebounds and three steals. He shot 12-of-25 from the field and 9-of-11 from the free-throw line.

He sank back-to-back crucial buckets in the fourth quarter, including a floater that gave the Knicks their first taste of the lead, 105-104, with 1:22 left.
