The script has switched rather quickly for the San Antonio Spurs over the last few days. The Knicks find themselves are just one win away from winning the championship, and the manner in which they won Game 4 is bound to leave a mark on Victor Wembanyama and company.
The Spurs need all the help they can to get their first home win and stretch the series to a sixth game. And well, they have received some useful advice from two-time champion Chris Bosh, who posted a clip talking about the Spurs’ chances of forcing Game 6 on X.

He initially spoke about the stark difference in which the Spurs have been treated by the media in the last few days, compared to how they were all campaign.
“You know, if you’re trying to accomplish your dream, if you’re going after a goal, especially if people can see it, if you’re in some sort of light… you know, watch how the Spurs have been treated over the last two days. Before, prior in this season and in these playoffs, they’ve been the darlings of the league. They’ve been great, Wembanyama’s the greatest, and now all of a sudden, you know, they’re stupid,” he said.
Bosh claimed that the Spurs need to put down their losses as mistakes, and quickly move on, citing his own career in the process.
“I’ve made plenty of mistakes in games, especially in championship situations, and these are split-second decisions that you have to make. And let’s be honest, man, the De’Aaron Fox block, look, did he get fouled? I don’t know, they didn’t call it. It’s only three people in the world that could have made that play: OG Anunoby, the Greek Freak, and LeBron James,” Bosh explained.
Bosh claimed that it was the first time the stakes were so high for Fox, and that he needs to put it behind him to help his team.
“Uh, we’ll see how San Antonio bounces back with their backs against the wall and we’ll see how the Knicks, you know, we’ll see how the Knicks handle this whole thing. One win away, should be a good one,” Bosh concluded.
The Spurs, led by Wembanyama, are still a young team, and are likely to remain competitive constantly over the next several years. At the same time, the series is not quite over until it actually is, and San Antonio will have their team’s back once again, despite how things went in Games 1 and 2.
