It was a fittingly wild conclusion to a gritty, come-from-behind victory at Frost Bank Center. New York found itself in a massive hole early on, managing just 13 points in a dismal first quarter and trailing by as many as 16 points. The Knicks still trailed by 10 with eight minutes left in regulation before mounting a ferocious late-game push.
Knicks superstar guard Jalen Brunson carried the entire city of New York on his back to close out the series. The Finals MVP put on an absolute masterclass, erupting for a series-high 45 points on 14-for-27 shooting from the field.
