A Knicks fan used a Singer sewing machine to make custom embroidery to commemorate Saturday’s game. An image of the fan was shared on Bluesky. The fan gifted people the embroidery on their jerseys and hats, the post said.

The fan wasn’t identified in the post. He set up his machine in the middle of a sidewalk, while other Knicks fans were walking around next to him.
New York City will be buzzing for days following the Knicks’ championship. The team will be celebrated in a ticker-tape parade on Thursday, Mayor Zohran Mamdani announced.
“For more than 50 years, New Yorkers have waited for this moment. Through near misses, heartbreak and a hope that every year could be our year, this city never stopped believing in the Knicks. And this team fulfilled that hope with grit, resilience and heart — just like the five boroughs itself,” Mamdani said, per the NBA. “New Yorkers have cheered for our team from packed living rooms in the Bronx to watch parties in Brooklyn, from bars in Queens to Staten Island to Manhattan, and Madison Square Garden itself. Now it’s time for our city to celebrate together. Bing bong.”
The celebration on Saturday night wasn’t without problems. The NYPD announced at least 63 people were arrested in New York City following the Knicks game. There were reports of property damage and even violent incidents between fans and police.
The last time New York won the championship was in 1973. Knicks fans will surely never forget this dream season.
