Watch Jameis Winston join Netherlands’ ‘Orange Army’ ahead of Japan match

The pre-match festivities for the highly anticipated World Cup group stage showdown between the Netherlands and Japan in Dallas reached an exciting new level. NFL quarterback Jameis Winston immersed himself in the international football culture by unexpectedly joining the famous Dutch “Orange Army” fan march as they paraded toward AT&T Stadium. In a viral video posted on X by ClutchPoints, which originally aired on Fox Sports, Winston was seen enthusiastically participating in the vibrant soccer fandom.

The charismatic quarterback jumped up and down alongside a massive sea of spirited Dutch supporters, passionately shouting traditional chants, and even hopping onto the official Orange Army fan bus. Infusing his trademark enthusiasm into the rowdy crowd, Winston energized the European fans, continuously encouraging them to cheer and scream at the top of their lungs as they marched toward the stadium gates.

This lively fan interaction perfectly reflects Winston’s latest off-field entertainment venture in the sport. Ahead of this summer’s global FIFA World Cup tournament, NFL icon Tom Brady has entered the soccer landscape by joining a new Tubi soccer-themed series alongside Rob Gronkowski and Winston.

Titled The Other Football, the eight-episode talk show premiered on May 27, with weekly episodes airing through July. The series, produced by Brady’s media company Shadow Lion, features Gronkowski and Winston diving into the unfamiliar world of soccer while learning about the sport from a star-studded lineup of special guests, including Keegan-Michael Key, actor Brendan Hunt, and U.S. soccer stars Weston McKennie and Matt Turner.
