Ben Rice’s dream season continues with heroic Yankees dinger vs. Blue Jays

The New York Yankees continue to get strong production from slugger Ben Rice. Rice hit a massive two-run homer on Sunday to help his Yankees take the lead, in the ninth inning of a game against the Toronto Blue Jays.

The club went on to get more production after that moonshot.

“Jose Caballero breaks this game open with a three-run homer. It’s a five-run 9th inning and the Yankees lead the Blue Jays, 8-3,” reporter Bryan Hoch posted to X, formerly Twitter.

New York won, 8-3. The team is on a hot-streak, and is now 43-27 on the year. The Bronx Bombers have seven wins in their last 10 games.

Rice finished his day with two hits, and two RBIs. He has helped pick up the slack since Aaron Judge went down with an injury. Rice now has 19 homers on the season.
