Tom Holland breaks silence on Zendaya marriage and those AI wedding photos

After lots of speculation, Tom Holland and Zendaya are married, though those wedding photos from earlier in the year may not have been real.

Speaking to Esquire for their July/August issue, he finally broke his silence on his rumored wedding. The author notes that it sounds like they are married, and he addressed the AI-generated photos that circulated online.

When asked if he needed to warn his family members about the fake pictures, he responded, “No, because they were all there.” That was all he shared about the nuptials, saying, “That’s all you’ll get on that.”

While the Spider-Man actor didn’t delve deeper into his wedding day, he wasn’t shy about talking about his wife. They support each other, and he has “found my person.”

“She’s my best friend, and I’m the happiest I have ever been when I’m with her,” he said, “but I have also never felt so supported and safe, ever. Period.”

They have known each other for about a decade now. Holland and Zendaya met during the production of Spider-Man: Homecoming. Of course, Holland plays Peter Parker/Spider-Man, and Zendaya plays his love interest, MJ. He recalled her knocking it out of the park for her audition, and it took no convincing to give her the role.

“Obviously, I was super excited at the prospect of working with her and getting to know her,” Holland recalled. “She smashed her audition out the park and got the part before she’d even left the room.

“I remember when she closed the door to leave, [producer] Amy Pascal was immediately like, ‘Well, she’s getting the job,'” he added.

They will soon star in the fourth Spider-Man movie, Brand New Day, together. Two weeks before that comes out, they will star in The Odyssey together as well.
