During the latest episode of Friday Night WWE SmackDown last week, fans witnessed Jade Cargill in an embarrassing moment. In the Queen of the Ring first round match, Cargill faced off against Sol Ruca, Lyra Valkyria, and Charlotte Flair.
However, midway through the match, Cargill found herself suffering a wardrobe malfunction. During the match, Cargill’s wig came off, leading her to perform several spots while holding it to her head, including taking a Sol Snatcher from Sol Ruca.
Recently, WWE Hall of Famer Bully Ray, aka Bubba Ray Dudley, came to Cargill’s defense and lauded her efforts in managing her wig as well as finishing the match.
“I’m giving a shout-out to Jade Cargill. You were put in a very rough, uncomfortable situation. It happens, wardrobe malfunctions happen, hair extensions get pulled out. Dudes have crapped themselves in the ring; anything can happen. It’s not easy to go out there and perform in front of thousands of people in the arena, and millions of people watching at home,” the legend said.
He further praised how Cargill continued the match despite her wig falling off. Ray noted that she could’ve easily gone under the ring to fix it, but Cargill decided to stay and continue the match.
“For a woman to have her wig come off on national television, it’s pretty easy to roll out and roll under the ring, and hopefully nobody sees you, right? She persevered, she kept on trucking and she got through the match. She did what she had to do. Good job, Jade.”
The match was eventually won by Charlotte Flair, who has now qualified for the semi-finals of the Queen of the Ring tournament.
