The Indiana Fever have been creeping up the WNBA standings now at 8-5 and having won three consecutive games. They’re looking to extend that win streak as they host the Toronto Tempo on Tuesday, but they might be a little short-handed. While star guard Caitlin Clark is expected to play, backup guard Raven Johnson puts officially listed as questionable on the Fever injury report, as per Chloe Peterson of The Indy Star.
Raven Johnson suffered an ankle injury during Fever practice the day before their game against the Tempo, and he status is in doubt. Should Johnson be unable to play, veteran guard Tyasha Harris will likely see increased minutes off the bench.
The No. 10 overall pick in the 2026 WNBA Draft, Johnson has seen her playing time fluctuate a bit since the start of the season. She’s appeared in all 13 games so far as a rookie, at a little over 13 minutes per game.
The former South Carolina star has been averaging 4.3 points, 1.8 rebounds and 1.3 assists with splits of 43.8 percent shooting from the field, 31.8 percent shooting from the 3-point line and 87.5 percent shooting from the free-throw line.
Johnson’s best game of the season thus far came back on May 28 when she finished with 16 points on 7-of-10 shooting from the field, including 2-of-3 from the 3-point line, in a close loss to the Golden State Valkyries. She also added four rebounds, two assists and one blocked shot in that game.
Prior to being drafted by the Fever, Johnson was one of the top guards in college basketball during her senior year with the Gamecocks. Across five seasons, she won two national championships and made five Final Four appearances.
