After going to the New York Knicks’ Game 4 win with Taylor Swift and sister Alana Haim, Este Haim talked about the “magical experience.”
Speaking to Variety on the red carpet for Voicemails for Isabelle, she couldn’t believe that her sister’s viral “Stevie Knicks” shirts gained so much traction.
“I think it surprised all of us,” she claimed. “I just went into it like, We’re gonna go to a basketball game and have fun. That was literally it. I just wanna have a good time!”

She then confirmed that Swift invited the Haim sisters to the game. Haim had never been so close to the action, and it impressed her. She was overwhelmed by how “loud” the crowd at Madison Square Garden was during the Knicks’ 29-point comeback.
“Taylor invited me and Alana. I mean, I’d never sat courtside ever, so it was a magical, magical experience. I’ve never heard the Garden be that loud in my life, so it was amazing. I had the best time.”
Este and Alana Haim are two-thirds of the rock group Haim. Their sister, Danielle, is also part of the trio. They’ve been together since 2007 and have opened for Swift on her 1989 and Eras Tours.
Este and Alana Haim went to the Knicks’ historic Game 4 win with Taylor Swift

Game 4 of the NBA Finals was played at Madison Square Garden on Wednesday, June 10. The Knicks were reeling after having their 13-game win streak snapped by the San Antonio Spurs in Game 3.
Things weren’t looking good early. The Knicks were down by as much as 29 points in the contest, but they managed to find a way to win.
The improbable comeback was sparked by Jalen Brunson and OG Anunoby, who scored 36 and 33 points, respectively. Anunoby tipped in a missed shot by Brunson to seal the victory. New York would then win Game 5 to secure the franchise’s first championship in 53 years.
