Former WWE talent drops positive return update

A part of WWE for nearly a decade, Kayla Braxton, aka Kayla Becker, is best known by fans as an on-screen face on WWE TV. During her tenure in WWE from 2016 to 2024, Braxton explored several on-screen roles, including host, ring announcer, and even a backstage interviewer.

However, after a span of almost eight years, Braxton parted ways with WWE in 2024. Shortly after, she was moved to WWE’s alumni section. Braxton has now moved on from WWE and is heavily focused on her career outside of it.

Recently appearing on TMZ Sports’ Inside The Ring, Braxton opened up about one of her last conversations with Triple H, where a chance of her possible return was teased. “Well, when I left, Triple H had said that to me. He said, the door is always open here,” Braxton explained. “Which is such a nice thing to hear from your boss when you’re the one walking away.”

Braxton mentioned that her choice to leave WWE was not about creating distance from wrestling. Rather, she wanted to create her own path and identity outside of wrestling. Although, previously she had addressed creative differences as a factor behind her exit.

“I don’t think I ever see myself going back in the same capacity, but when I left I just hoped, like, I can go away, kind of create my own brand for myself,” she said. “I don’t want to always be WWE’s Kayla Braxton because I had so much more I wanted to do.”

Moved on from wrestling, Braxton, aka Becker, is now a TV host as well as a co-host on Milk & Honey’s Podcast.
