As rumors continue to surround Milwaukee Bucks superstar Giannis Antetokounmpo and a potential trade this offseason, the basketball world ponders which team would be his best fit. While the talk around a trade involving Antetokounmpo will continue to be speculated about, Skip Bayless has his own opinion on which team makes the most sense for the 31-year-old.
Appearing on “Gil’s Arena,” Bayless would say that the Boston Celtics are the “best fit” for Antetokounmpo, though it would be a form of ‘starting over’ for the team in readjusting its identity led by Jayson Tatum and Jaylen Brown.
“The best fit for him is still Boston, but again, they’re going to have to basically blow up their chemistry and start over, but I do think it’s the best fit,” Bayless said. “I just don’t think it’s going to happen just because they won, it would be so shocking, it would be gutsy shocking, and it could be smart shocking to just say we’re going to take it up one more level and see if we can repeat or maybe three-peat with Giannis.”
Skip Bayless says best fit for Giannis Antetokounmpo is Boston Celtics:

Skip Bayless on the Celtics making sense for Giannis Antetokounmpo
Bayless would continue talking about the possibility of Antetokounmpo ending up with the Celtics, though the continued favorite still appears to be the Miami Heat. Still, Bayless doubles down on Antetokounmpo going to Boston being a deal that “makes sense.”
“He reportedly is good with it, and Jalen Brown and Jayson Tatum are never going to quite be simpatico, you know. I don’t think they’re ever going to be quite comfortable,” Bayless said. “I feel like Boston needs to take it up another step to deal with the Knicks. And Giannis, at this stage and age, would take it up a level. You just have to change the way you play basketball, because you can’t take 50 threes a game…they’d have to slow it down, they’d have to go at it differently, and probably more effectively.”
At any rate, it remains to be seen when Antetokounmpo will be dealt and to which team.
