After it was confirmed by James Dolan that the New York Knicks would visit the White House, an old tweet resurfaced from Josh Hart about President Donald Trump.
On Nov. 7, 2020, Hart wrote, “YESSIR!!!! GET TRUMP’S DUMBA** OUT THE WHITE HOUSE!!!!!!” on X, formerly Twitter. This came after the 2020 Presidential Election, which Trump lost to Joe Biden.
Naturally, this resurfaced and went viral again after it was confirmed that the Knicks would be going to the White House to celebrate their championship.
At the time, Hart was still on the New Orleans Pelicans, his second NBA team. He’d have a stint with the Portland Trail Blazers before landing on the Knicks in 2022.
When will the Knicks visit Donald Trump at the White House?

Details regarding the Knicks’ White House visit are yet to be shared. Dolan appeared on The Carton Show on Wednesday, June 17, to confirm the news. He seemed happy to accept the invitation.
“We just did receive an invitation from the White House, which we accepted,” he said. “We still have to figure out the details, et cetera, but you know, yes, of course.”
He went on to talk about his “friend,” Trump, whom he invited to Game 3 of the NBA Finals at Madison Square Garden (which they lost).
“He is a friend. I’ve known him for 30 years,” Dolan recollected about his relationship with the president. “And I’m very proud to bring the team to the White House.”
One of the players, Jose Alvarado, was asked about potentially visiting the White House. He seemed very easy-going about it, saying, “If there’s a chance, I’m going wherever my teammate goes.”
It appears he will be going along with his teammates. However, it is unknown how Hart feels about potentially visiting the White House after his old tweet.
