In the latest Instagram post from the Indiana Fever guard, Sophie Cunningham has unleashed her inner cowgirl once again in a spicy post.
She posted a carousel of pictures of her recent adventures, ranging from T.J. Maxx events to Fever games. Her caption read, “Yeeeee mf(rickin) hawwww.”
The Fever are currently rolling on a four-game win streak. They are coming off a 22-point victory over the Toronto Tempo in the WNBA Commissioner’s Cup. Indiana won the competition in 2025.
Sophie Cunningham’s second year with the Fever

Cunningham is in the midst of her second season with the Fever. Currently, she is averaging more than a point more than her points per game average in 2025 (8.6), averaging 10.1 per game.
So far, she has played in 13 games, starting three of them, and is averaging 22.6 minutes in each contest. She is also averaging 2.7 rebounds and 1.6 assists per game.
The Fever are off to a 9-5 start to the season. They are currently in third place in the Eastern Conference Division. Their next game will be against the Atlanta Dream on Thursday, June 18, 2026.
Cunningham was traded to the Fever before the 2025 WNBA season by the Phoenix Mercury. She spent the first six years of her career with them before being traded.
She was a former second-round pick by the Mercury in the 2019 WNBA Draft out of Missouri. While in college, she was named First-team All-SEC three times from 2017 to 2019. Additionally, she was named SEC Freshman of the Year in 2016. She also made the SEC All-Freshman Team that year.
During her first year in Indiana, Cunningham had an expanded role due to injuries to other star players like Caitlin Clark. She suffered a torn MCL against the Connecticut Sun on Sunday, Aug. 17, 2025. This cut her season short.
