The New York Knicks are still basking in the glow of their recent NBA championship win, defeating the San Antonio Spurs in five games in the NBA Finals. On Thursday, the Knicks took to the streets of New York City for a parade, the first one the city has seen for basketball since 1973.
As many anticipated, numerous celebrity Knicks fans were in attendance for the festivities, including Timothee Chalamet, Tracy Morgan, Ben Stiller, Edie Falco, and more.

While several celebrities hopped on the Knicks’ bandwagon seemingly for the first time during this playoff run, Chalamet, Stiller, Morgan, and Falco all have chronicled histories of supporting New York even during their days as the laughingstock of the NBA, so no such allegations can be leveled against them.
All of those entertainers were in attendance when the Knicks rallied from a 29-point deficit in Game 4 of the NBA Finals against the Spurs last week, using epic games from both Jalen Brunson and OG Anunoby to spur the wild comeback. Anunoby made one of the most iconic plays in Knicks history when he tipped in a missed shot from Brunson in the final seconds to steal the win, after which New York went back to San Antonio and won the series in Game 5.
The Knicks have been in full-on celebration mode all week, going on various talk shows to show off the championship trophy and enjoying their first title in 53 years. Making matters even better is the fact that New York is poised to bring back most of their championship-winning core from a year ago, although there hasn’t been a repeat champion since the 2018 Golden State Warriors.
However, none of that matters for Knicks fans right now.
